Romance, fantasy and creativity are the essence of Slubia, a woman whose life has been as rich and intriguing as her creations. The bridal world is essentially a realm of fantasy. Creation and fulfillment of these illusions is Slubia´s mission.

Slubia  came of age immersed in the fashion industry. Her mother was the owner and designer of Gloria’s Fashions in Peru. Slubia loved the world of princes. and princesses, the realm of love and beauty. When she came to this country in 1990, after some struggle, working un as a Merrow machine operator in different factories, she started working as a seamstress in «Amsale», a well-known bridal designer.

After that, she became a pattern maker for «One of a Kind Bride» Candice Solomon, and led her to the fulfillment of «Iman Bridal Couture» designs in Glen Cove Road, Long Island, New York.

Also working in Alterations in «Cymbeline» wedding gowns from Paris, The White Gown in Manhattan, New York, «Paisley Bridal», Queens, NY and «Cherished Bridal» in Pompton Lakes, NJ She attended the Fashion Institute of Technology, Parsons and New York University, while raising her four children and working full time. Her creativity and laborious attention to detail earned her outstanding positions at school and in her career.
